Paralysis Treatment :-
Paralysis occurs when you are unable to function properly, difficulty in voluntary muscle movements and problems in regular bodily muscle movements. Paralysis can be permanent as well temporary depending on how severe the patients’ condition is.
When you are diagnosed with paralysis, you are not able to move entirely. This can cause difficulty in your regular functioning which is basically loss of sensation where you are injured.
You may experience:
- Loss of some sensations or feeling, muscle control
- You may experience tingling or numbness in your limbs
- Muscle cramps
How is paralysis treated?
It is noted that there isn’t any type of treatment or cure for permanent type of paralysis. Daily rehabilitation can help one eventually improve their condition and enjoy better quality of life.
Some of the rehabilitation techniques which are really helpful are-
- Adaptive Equipment which allows the patient to feed oneself or certainly drive.
- Voice- activated Technology- ( computers, phones, mobiles or any type of lighting systems.
- Assistive equipment- which can help a patient to perform daily chores; includes scooters, wheelchairs, crutches or canes.
- Orthotic/ prosthetic devices- which generally includes braces.
